Roles of the financial sectors go down and those of construction rise
The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) opened today’s trading session with mixed indicators, given the rise in construction shares and the decline in financial paper mainly, in line with varied behavior in regional markets.
The General Index of the BVL, the most representative of the local stock exchange, falls 0.18%, going from 20,196 to 20,161 points.
On the other hand, the Selective Index goes up 0.25%, going from 524.65 to 525.97 points.
The main Asian stock markets had mixed behavior at the close as well as the results shown by the main Latin American markets at the moment. Wall Street bounces after the declines of last week and presents positive indicators.
The Dow Jones industrial index of the New York Stock Exchange and the Standard & Poor’s index advanced 1.13% and 0.95% respectively, while the Nasdaq technology indicator rose 1.03%.
